Chronology of cameras Aiptek
Aiptek (Affordable Innovative Personal Technologies) is a Taiwanese brand known for its low-end electronic devices. In recent years, the company has focused on manufacturing mini projectors.
The DV 3300 is both a digital camera and a digital camcorder. In both cases, there is a 4x digital zoom. However, this does not bode well for the device.
Confirmation: The camcorder has a resolution of 640 x 480 at 10 frames per second and only 320 x 240 at 20 frames per second. It also functions as a webcam, and one could argue that it is primarily a webcam.
The digital camera has three resolutions: 640 x 480 (VGA), 1600 x 1200, and 2048 x 1536. The last one is obtained through interpolation. The maximum recording time varies between 03:50 and 15:29 depending on the desired quality.
In summary, the DV 3300 is a webcam that looks like a pocket camcorder and can also be used as a dictaphone or MP3 player.
In the early 2000s, Aiptek filed several design patents related to this type of camera.
